Talbott Teas Steamy Cinnamon Rose Cranberry Sauce

This month our Holiday gift sets feature our Steamy Cinnamon Rose tea.     Steamy Cinnamon Rose is made with : Full-leaf black tea, orange peel, cloves, rose petals, cinnamon and natural orange flavor.   We think it is the perfect tea to enjoy during the holiday season.   Not only will you enjoy drinking the tea, but you will find it works great in recipes as well.   We used it to create a special holiday cranberry sauce.

Talbott Teas Steamy Cinnamon Rose Cranberry Sauce

1 1/2 cups sugar
2 Strongly Brewed Talbott Teas Steamy Cinnamon Rose Tea*
1 lb. (4 cups) cranberries

Make 2 cups of Talbott Teas Steamy Cinnamon Rose tea -One teaspoon of tea per cup.  Add Boiling water, steep for 5 minutes .

  • Let cool.

Boil sugar and tea together for 5 minutes. Add cranberries and boil without stirring until all the skins pop open (about 5 minutes).

Remove from heat and allow the sauce to remain in the pan until cool. 

When sauce has cooled, taste and adjust for sweetness.
